Job Requirements
- At least 21 years of age
- associate’s degree or equivalent work experience
- minimum two years in Hotel Sales, Hotel Operations, Convention Services or Special Events
- proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- possession of required licenses for the position
Job Qualifications
- Effectively communicate in English both written and oral
- working knowledge of automated sales and catering systems
- complete working knowledge of Amadeus/Delphi system
- knowledge of meeting room capacities and banquet setup
- ability to train and motivate associates and managers
- proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- basic math skills
- detail-oriented with multitasking ability
- ability to work in fast-paced environment

- ability to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, holidays
- previous experience in large luxury resort preferred
Job Duties
- Oversee and manage all aspects related to the Hotel MICE reservation experience from the Group’s cut-off date until departure
- act as main point of contact for Group Meeting Planners on property
- manage and prioritize multiple tasks throughout the Group’s journey
- recognize details to enhance the Group’s stay
- guide the Group in decisions aligning with Event goals and Hotel procedures
- work with Event Planning Companies, third parties, and Meeting Planners to ensure accurate Hotel reservation setup
- collaborate with Group Reservations, Front Services, VIP, Front Desk, Sales, and Convention Services Teams
- understand Group’s arrival expectations and logistics
- maintain expenses within budget
- support housing-related contractual obligations including room blocks, rates, and attrition
- manage and execute group VIP arrivals, limo transfers, amenities
- maintain individual performance score contributing to departmental goals
- coordinate arrival and departure logistics and communicate expectations to Front Office, Guest Services, Housekeeping, Concierge, and VIP teams
- support daily in-house client communication and confirm delivery of daily reports
- build strong client relationships to promote loyalty and repeat business
- maintain CRM Opportunity profiles for each event
- manage group block inventory dynamics with Sales and Revenue
- leverage Passkey for room block management
- coordinate porterage, satellite check-in, pre-keys, meet and greets, VIP amenities, and transportation
- plan for scenarios impacting event integrity
- demonstrate effective communication, problem-solving, and flexibility
- use personal device for operational tasks
- perform other job-related duties as assigned
