Job Requirements

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance
  • U.S. citizenship required
  • University degree or advanced degree in related field
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience or 5 years with advanced degree
  • Experience with export/import licensing and compliance activities
  • Knowledge of export regulations ITAR and EAR
  • Experience using automated licensing systems
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently
  • Willingness to travel as required

Job Qualifications

  • University degree with minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or advanced degree with minimum 5 years of experience
  • Experience drafting and submitting Department of State and/or Department of Commerce license and agreement applications
  • Familiarity with DECCS, SNAP-R, OCR EASE, and/or other automated licensing and compliance systems
  • Active and transferable DoD Secret Clearance preferred
  • Experience as an Empowered Official preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to develop effective networks and collaborate across business functions
  • Strong time management, prioritization, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and writing skills
  • Experience with Global Trade systems such as RGEMS and/or SAP systems

Job Duties

  • Provide export/import licensing guidance and license portfolio management guidance
  • Support the business with developing export/import licensing strategies to enable business growth
  • Serve as subject matter expert (SME) in ITAR and EAR Export Authorizations requirements and drafting
  • Review, prepare, submit, and manage various Export/Import Authorizations including licenses and agreements
  • Review and approve export transactional requests involving engineering support services, meetings, employee travel, visitor access, technical data/defense service exports, and hardware exports
  • Provide day-to-day guidance and support to LADS personnel on export licensing and compliance needs
  • Assist with investigations and reviews of possible global trade escapes and disclosures
  • Travel as required to support global trade or program meetings
