Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience in hospitality or related field
  • Experience in sports travel market including amateur, collegiate, and professional segments
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to travel frequently within the United States
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, hospitality, or related field preferred
  • Proven track record of successful sales experience in a global or branded hotel company
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with sports travel including amateur, collegiate, and professional sectors
  • Established relationships with key accounts and third-party travel companies
  • Excellent communication and customer relations skills
  • Strong business acumen
  • Ability to work independently with a self-driven attitude
  • Comfortable with frequent travel across the United States

Job Duties

  • Develop effective group presentations that articulate the value proposition of Sonesta Hotels
  • Manage the RFP process for groups and meetings with respect to relevant accounts within a managed portfolio
  • Maintain timely and clear communication with internal and external customers
  • Grow relationships at the appropriate levels both internally and externally
  • Clearly articulate visions, goals and benefits of Sonesta Hotels
  • Liaise with hotel leadership to develop mutually beneficial agreements with favorable returns
  • Utilize a proactive approach to selling and meeting segment objectives
