Job Requirements

  • Proven experience in fast casual or quick-service restaurant operations
  • Hands-on management style with passion for exceptional hospitality
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Communication skills for interacting with guests, employees and third parties
  • Reading and writing abilities for completing reports and inventory management
  • Mathematical skills including budgeting and profit/loss concepts
  • Problem-solving, reasoning, motivating, organizational and training abilities
  • Alcohol awareness certification and/or valid health/food handler card
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays
  • Capability to lift up to 75 pounds and move safely around the outlet
  • Ability to handle food, objects, products and utensils
  • Ability to bend, stoop, and kneel frequently

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1-2 years restaurant management experience in a full service restaurant or similar setting
  • Hospitality management degree or some college preferred
  • Must speak fluent English
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience in budget management and financial analysis
  • Knowledge of food safety and alcohol awareness certification

Job Duties

  • Ensure compliance with standards of service and operating procedures
  • Adhere to federal, state and local regulations concerning health safety or other compliance requirements
  • Supervise day-to-day activities of food and beverage outlets or assigned portion of the operation
  • Plan and organize work
  • Communicate and enforce policies and procedures
  • Recommend and/or initiate salary, disciplinary, or staffing-related actions according to company rules and policies
  • Alert management of potentially serious issues
  • Ensure staff are properly trained and have necessary tools and equipment
  • Greet guests upon arrival and respond to guest complaints with appropriate service recovery
  • Assist in creating innovative marketing programs and promotions
  • Monitor performance of the restaurant through guest feedback and financial results
  • Maintain procedures for security and proper storage of inventory and equipment
  • Achieve budgeted revenues, control expenses and labor costs
  • Ensure all restaurant equipment is operational and regularly cleaned
  • Ensure restaurant facilities are clean and properly stocked
  • Coordinate special events scheduled for the venue
  • Attend bi-weekly meetings with brand leadership to discuss marketing strategies
