Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent GED
- Four years of related production experience
- One year of leadership experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of shop floor management systems
- Flexibility to work any shift as needed
- Capability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret clearance
- Willingness to travel up to 50%
- Experience in aerospace or defense manufacturing preferred
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent GED
- Four years of related production experience in aerospace, military, manufacturing, and/or maintenance environment
- One year of leading projects or teams
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
- Familiarity with shop floor management systems such as MES
- Ability to work any shift as needed by the business
- Ability to obtain and maintain Department of Defense Secret clearance and Program Access
- Preferred active DoD Secret clearance investigated within the last five years
- Four years of experience in electrical cable harness fabrication and installation
- Five years of defense industry experience as supervisor or team lead in manufacturing management
- Experience with repair and installation
- Familiarity with manufacturing product lines
Job Duties
- Lead a team of 12-15 hourly cable harness and avionics technicians
- Oversee daily production and manufacturing of electrical cable and harness operations
- Coordinate and lead operations start up meetings
- Perform daily resource planning to meet customer schedule demand
- Collaborate with production scheduling to meet schedule requirements
- Ensure availability of tools, plans, people, and materials to complete workload
- Report production KPIs to site leadership
- Conduct root cause analysis for safety and quality incidents
- Mentor, train, and develop staff including performance management
- Drive continuous improvement in safety, delivery, quality, and cost
- Travel up to 50% to support customer requirements
