Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent GED
  • Four years of related production experience
  • One year of leadership experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of shop floor management systems
  • Flexibility to work any shift as needed
  • Capability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret clearance
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%
  • Experience in aerospace or defense manufacturing preferred

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent GED
  • Four years of related production experience in aerospace, military, manufacturing, and/or maintenance environment
  • One year of leading projects or teams
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
  • Familiarity with shop floor management systems such as MES
  • Ability to work any shift as needed by the business
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Department of Defense Secret clearance and Program Access
  • Preferred active DoD Secret clearance investigated within the last five years
  • Four years of experience in electrical cable harness fabrication and installation
  • Five years of defense industry experience as supervisor or team lead in manufacturing management
  • Experience with repair and installation
  • Familiarity with manufacturing product lines

Job Duties

  • Lead a team of 12-15 hourly cable harness and avionics technicians
  • Oversee daily production and manufacturing of electrical cable and harness operations
  • Coordinate and lead operations start up meetings
  • Perform daily resource planning to meet customer schedule demand
  • Collaborate with production scheduling to meet schedule requirements
  • Ensure availability of tools, plans, people, and materials to complete workload
  • Report production KPIs to site leadership
  • Conduct root cause analysis for safety and quality incidents
  • Mentor, train, and develop staff including performance management
  • Drive continuous improvement in safety, delivery, quality, and cost
  • Travel up to 50% to support customer requirements
