Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in game operations or sports promotions preferred
- ability to work nights weekends and holidays
- ability to multitask and prioritize under pressure
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- passion for sports and entertainment
- attention to detail
- willingness to work varied and long hours including short notice
Job Qualifications
- Experience in sports promotion or event coordination preferred
- familiarity with baseball and Minor League Baseball operations helpful
- strong organizational and multitasking skills
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to work varied hours including nights weekends and holidays
- proficiency with website content management
- creativity in promotions and entertainment planning
- basic knowledge of social media content creation
Job Duties
- Prepare nightly game and promo scripts incorporating all sponsor and corporate elements
- research trends best practices and emerging technologies in promotions
- oversee promotional calendar creation and maintenance
- develop plans for theme nights including pregame in-game and postgame elements
- coordinate logistics for game day appearances and entertainment including contracting entertainers set up and take down
- coordinate promotions products games and events with Corporate Client Services Manager ensuring contracts are executed
- manage execution of promotions sponsored and non-sponsored
- procure items needed to execute sponsored promotions ensuring deadlines are met
- oversee scheduling of national anthem singers and assist with add-on sales
- work with Marketing department to plan coordinate and evaluate marketing plans for promotions and theme nights
- clearly communicate promotion and theme night elements to staff customers and public
- assist with video shoots and player mascot appearances for marketing
- coordinate assigned staffing and supervise gameday staff
- create fresh in-game entertainment on-field
- contribute to Promotions Team with creative planning and execution
