Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- MBA preferred
- Minimum five years experience in sales strategy or related roles
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to manage and resolve day-to-day operational issues
- Willingness to travel up to 10-20 percent of the time
- Ability to sit and use computer for extended periods

Job Qualifications
- Five plus years of experience in sales strategy, sales operations, sales, or related roles with proven success in foodservice customers
- Strong problem-solving skills and strategic thinking with effective execution of business needs
- Experience with internal data and syndicated data sources such as Circana and Datassential
- Ability to translate complex data and analytics into quantifiable business opportunities and simplified selling stories
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with capability to influence senior leadership and collaborate cross-functionally
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience in food manufacturing industry, preferably in Non-Commercial or K-12 sectors
- Familiarity with sales performance tracking tools and opportunity pipeline development
- Advanced Excel and data analysis skills
Job Duties
- Partner with director and cross-functional partners to develop long-term sales strategies within Non-Commercial and K-12 space
- Support the sales team with day-to-day issue and operations resolution activity
- Develop sector value propositions and selling stories based on product portfolio, pricing, competitive intelligence, and market dynamics
- Ensure sales team has tools, training, and resources for effective selling
- Translate product features into solution selling stories addressing operator challenges
- Provide sales team with target customer recommendations based on industry data
- Generate channel and customer-specific strategies to support innovation launches
- Continuously assess market trends, competitive activities, and regulatory impacts and adjust strategies proactively
- Support sales strategy, marketing, and sales in the annual budget process
- Perform other duties as assigned
