Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience required
- Master’s degree preferred
- Five years’ relevant experience preferred
- One year’s leadership experience preferred
- SERV Safe certification or equivalent preferred
- Registered Dietitian (RD) preferred

Job Duties
- Manages daily operation of the kitchen and storeroom effectively and efficiently by assisting staff, patients, and visitors
- Maintains organization of workflow throughout the departments
- Creates an environment that upholds employee morale
- Solicits customer feedback, evaluates it, and takes appropriate action
- Takes effective action to maintain food and supply budget within financial guidelines
- Prepares documentation to comply with department policies, regulatory agencies, etc. by working with other hospital personnel or corrective actions
- Conducts performance appraisals and documentation regarding personnel issues
