Job Requirements
- Minimum two years of leadership experience
- ServSafe Food Protection Manager certification required
- State of California Food Handler Permit required within 30 days of start date
- ServSafe Food Allergen certification required within 60 days of start date
- Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration or Certified Dietary Manager with Association of Nutrition and Foodservice Professionals required within 24 months of start date
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Direct all patient interactive positions such as dietitians and diet clerks
- Provide for the operational needs of food nutrition services staff
- Maintain communication with patients, staff, and customers regarding service levels
- Promote patient satisfaction and relay feedback to management
- Collaborate in menu development for patient, cafeteria, and catering services
- Assist with managing the facility diet manual and ensure compliance with nutritional standards
- Recruit, hire and manage staff performance
- Ensure adequate staffing and cost efficiency
- Conduct patient rounding, visitations, and job shadowing audits
- Assess efficacy of training programs
