Job Requirements
- Minimum of two years of hospital nutrition management experience
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics or related field or Associates of Arts degree with five years of related experience in lieu of BA degree
- Certified Dietary Manager or Registered Dietitian certification within 12 months
- SERVSAFE Manager certification
- SERVSAFE General certification

Job Duties
- Directs all patient non-interactive positions and provides for the operational needs of these positions
- maintains regulatory compliance and infection control practices
- maintains communication with staff and customers regarding service levels and promotes patient satisfaction
- maintains adequate staffing reflecting cost efficiency
- assigns staff and workload respecting changing daily priorities
- recruits, hires, and manages performance of staff
- actively collaborates in menu development for patient, cafeteria, and catering services
- participates in hospital committees as per policies and procedures
- ensures patient/customer perspective guides actions and decisions
- shares authority to enable decision making and accountability downward
- interacts to build confidence in intentions and organization
- keeps organization's mission, vision, and values central to decision making
- demonstrates professional/technical skills and shares knowledge
- anticipates and manages conflicts effectively
- prepares and maintains operational logs
- assists with Quality Assurance/Improvement audits and activities
