Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Three years of foodservice management or supervisory experience in a hospital or related setting
- Food Manager Certification required within 90 days of employment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related systems
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to perform physical activities including standing and walking for two to three hours
- Ability to work independently and in teams
- Must comply with hospital guidelines and safety regulations
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Three years of foodservice management or supervisory experience in a hospital or related high-volume food production operation
- Food Manager Certification from a Florida Department of Health-approved provider required within 90 days of job entry
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and electronic medical records
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to lead, mentor, and collaborate
- Ability to perform continuous physical activity including standing and walking
- Strong interpersonal skills aligned with organizational culture and values
Job Duties
- Manage daily operations of assigned service areas
- Ensure highest possible customer satisfaction and employee engagement
- Administer employee performance evaluations, payroll, and ongoing education
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory agency requirements related to physical and food safety
- Lead work teams to maintain or enhance patient and customer experience
- Promote teamwork within and outside the department
- Manage resources including staffing, supplies, and revenue
- Coach and counsel employees and evaluate performance
- Serve as a leader and mentor for department and organization
