Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year leadership experience in food and beverage
  • Flexible scheduling availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Experience in business and revenue management
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Attention to detail and time management
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation rules and regulations
  • Ability to use hospitality software
  • Successful background check and drug screen
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Ability to bend, stretch, and twist

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 1 year leadership experience in food and beverage
  • Experienced in driving business revenue and employee engagement
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams to achieve goals
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, and guest relations
  • Familiarity with hospitality software including Microsoft Office and POS systems
  • Successful completion of criminal background check and drug screen
  • Proficient in food safety and sanitation practices
  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business, or related field preferred
  • Manager-level food safety certification preferred
  • Manager-level alcohol awareness certification preferred
  • Effective communication and conflict resolution skills
  • Experience with kitchen and bar equipment maintenance
  • Prior management experience in hotel or resort industry preferred
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Experience ensuring workplace safety compliance

Job Duties

  • Oversees and takes ownership of daily functions of lodge restaurant, bars, quick service, and banquet operations per brand guidelines to achieve monthly KPI goals
  • Assists F&B leadership in operational planning, reviews, and improvement initiatives
  • Leads hiring, training, scheduling, coaching, and counseling of pack members
  • Ensures compliance with Great Wolf University training courses
  • Supports frontline staff in guest service to maximize guest satisfaction
  • Partners with Culinary and Purchasing Teams to maintain inventory and par levels
  • Assists Director and Chef with cost control and waste minimization
  • Ensures strict adherence to food safety and sanitation standards
  • Works with HR on scheduling and payroll activities
  • Monitors equipment operation and maintenance
  • Participates in inventory procedures to maintain budget and pars
  • Conducts department pre-shift meetings and service audits
  • Ensures compliance with safety inspections and standards
  • Assists in guest-facing roles during peak times as needed
