Job Requirements

  • Must have a high school diploma or GED
  • culinary arts degree and minimum eight years food & beverage managerial experience preferred
  • previous financial planning and project management experience required
  • knowledge of laws and regulations in food and beverage preparation and service
  • vast knowledge in culinary arts including new food trends
  • knowledge of food cost and labor analysis
  • knowledge in all phases of Food & Beverage administration and cost control
  • excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • excellent time management and organizational skills
  • flexibility with work shifts and days off
  • must maintain confidentiality

Job Qualifications

  • Must have a high school diploma or GED
  • culinary arts degree preferred
  • minimum of eight years food & beverage managerial experience in a multi-outlet property or equivalent

Job Duties

  • Direct research and planning to improve F&B departments operations involving operational and long-range planning
  • maintain accuracy of Food & Beverage systems including point of sale programs
  • hire, train, and evaluate staff including disciplinary actions
  • ensure maximum service and satisfaction throughout F&B departments
  • provide support and direction to maximize department productivity and profitability
  • create and implement strategies for organizational growth within Food & Beverage
  • manage front and back of the house operations including scheduling and payroll
  • develop new menu items and culinary presentations
  • minimize expenses while improving revenue
  • analyze and improve operational efficiencies
  • maintain and monitor budget and take corrective action
  • ensure cleanliness and compliance with laws
  • coordinate catering and special events
  • review and update Food & Beverage policies
  • mentor and develop Food & Beverage team
  • resolve guest and staff complaints
  • prepare reports for Casino Controller
  • manage online presence and customer reviews
  • perform Food & Beverage operational analysis for improvements
