Job Requirements
- high School diploma or equivalent preferred
- three to five years related experience in hospitality preferred
- one to three years experience supervising a team of managers or in supervisory role required
- current Food Handlers Card and TIPS certification
- must meet state and federal minimum age for serving alcohol
- computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel
- knowledge of restaurant database software a plus
- knowledgeable about county regulations
- ability to understand and implement dining standards
- ability to read and interpret food service industry periodicals
- ability to understand standardized recipes
- ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- ability to speak effectively before groups
- ability to calculate food costs, pricing, inventory, labor standards, and understand profit and loss statements
- basic computational and budgetary analysis skills
- strong planning, problem-solving, decision-making, delegation, time management, and employee development skills
- excellent written and verbal communication skills

Job Duties
- Communicate the core values and mission of BlueStar Resort & Golf to support company goals
- Support the Director in strategic planning and business initiatives including vision, capital expansion, branding, menu, and design
- Ensure superior standards of food service and quality that meet or exceed expectations
- Maintain effective communication regarding F&B operations, safety, and employee concerns
- Hire, train, supervise F&B staff, create schedules, and motivate team members
- Manage cost of goods, labor, and general expenses for F&B operations
- Establish and manage purchase order programs, budgets, and financial reports
- Coordinate with Club Manager to set budgets and sales goals
- Execute budgets on daily, monthly, and annual basis
- Oversee all F&B events including corporate parties and weddings
- Maintain and improve BSRG standards by staying current with industry trends
- Attend culinary exhibitions and educational seminars
- Perform additional duties as assigned
