Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience
  • Minimum one year leadership experience in food and beverage
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays based on business demands
  • Experience driving business revenue, controlling costs, and enhancing guest satisfaction and employee engagement
  • Demonstrated leadership to achieve or exceed goals
  • Attention to detail and excellent time management
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation rules and regulations
  • Familiarity with hospitality software including Microsoft Office Suite, payroll systems, and POS
  • Successful completion of criminal background check and drug screen
  • Proficiency in food safety and sanitation practices

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience
  • Minimum one year leadership experience in food and beverage management
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams to achieve or exceed goals
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Comprehensive knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette
  • Proficiency with desktop hospitality software including Microsoft Office Suite, payroll systems, and POS
  • Successful completion of criminal background check and drug screen
  • Manager-level food safety certification preferred
  • Manager-level alcohol awareness and safety certification preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality, business, or related field preferred
  • Prior management experience in hotel or resort industry preferred
  • Effective communication and conflict resolution skills
  • Experience with kitchen and bar equipment maintenance
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret business indicators
  • Experience developing and implementing workplace safety plans

Job Duties

  • Oversee daily functions of multiple food and beverage outlets including restaurant, bar, quick service, and banquet operations
  • Assist leadership in achieving operational objectives by contributing to strategic planning and reviewing plans
  • Hire, train, schedule, coach, and counsel staff ensuring job expectations and company policies are met
  • Ensure compliance with Great Wolf University training participation and food safety standards
  • Support frontline staff in attending to guest needs and ensuring guest satisfaction
  • Partner with culinary and purchasing teams to maintain inventory, controlling costs and minimizing waste
  • Monitor equipment maintenance and performance, call for repairs as needed, and conduct inventory procedures to manage controllable costs
  • Conduct pre-shift meetings and service audits to ensure guest satisfaction and adherence to company standards
