Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 1 year leadership experience in food and beverage
  • Flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Experience driving business, revenue, cost control, guest satisfaction, and employee engagement
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams to achieve or exceed goals
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Comprehensive knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, payroll systems, and POS
  • Successful completion of criminal background check and drug screen
  • Proficiency with food safety and sanitation practices, rules and regulations
  • Able to lift up to 30 lbs
  • Able to bend, stretch, and twist
  • Able to stand for long periods of time

Job Qualifications

  • Comprehensive knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette
  • Familiarity with hospitality software including Microsoft Office Suite, payroll systems, and POS
  • Highly proficient with food safety and sanitation practices, rules, and regulations
  • Successful completion of criminal background check and drug screen
  • Effective communication skills and ability to resolve conflicts
  • Training or experience with kitchen and bar equipment maintenance
  • Prior management experience in hotel or resort industry preferred
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret business indicators
  • Experience developing and implementing safe work environment plans
  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business, or related field preferred
  • Manager-level certification from nationally accredited food safety and alcohol awareness programs preferred

Job Duties

  • Oversee daily functions of restaurants, bars, quick service, and banquet operations per brand guidelines to achieve monthly KPI goals
  • Assist F&B leadership in achieving operational objectives by contributing to strategic plans, preparing action plans, implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer service standards, resolving problems, completing audits, identifying trends, and implementing change
  • Hire, train, schedule, coach, and counsel staff while enforcing policies and procedures consistent with the company handbook
  • Ensure compliance of staff participation in mandatory training courses
  • Support frontline staff in guest service to ensure maximum satisfaction
  • Partner with culinary and purchasing teams to maintain inventory levels and adhere to health code requirements
  • Monitor equipment operation, perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot breakdowns, and coordinate repairs
  • Conduct department pre-shift meetings, service audits, and course-correct service components to maintain guest satisfaction and meet company standards
  • Collaborate with HR for scheduling and payroll activities
  • Ensure strict adherence to food safety, sanitation, cleanliness, and safety audit standards
  • Participate in weekly and monthly inventory procedures to control costs
  • Assist director and chef in controlling cost of goods sold and minimizing waste
