Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Three to five years related hospitality experience preferred
- One to three years experience supervising a team or in managerial role required
- Current Food Handlers Card and TIPS Certification
- Must meet state and federal minimum age for serving alcohol
- Computer literate with Microsoft Office skills
- Knowledge of restaurant database software a plus
- Understanding of county food service regulations
- Ability to uphold BlueStar dining standards
- Ability to read industry specific materials
- Ability to write reports
- Strong public speaking skills
- Proficiency in calculating food costs and budgets
- Basic math and budget analysis skills
- Skills in planning and problem-solving
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple priorities
- Flexibility for evenings and weekends
- Valid driver’s license required
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Communicate the core values and mission of BlueStar Resort & Golf to support company goals
- Support the Director in strategic planning for Food & Beverage initiatives including business planning and branding
- Ensure superior standards of food service and quality are met or exceeded
- Maintain effective communication within the Food & Beverage team regarding operations and safety
- Hire, train, and supervise Food & Beverage staff, and create schedules
- Manage cost of goods, labor, and general expenses of Food & Beverage operations
- Establish and manage budgets, purchase orders, and contribution reports
- Coordinate with Club Manager on budget creation and performance goals
- Oversee all Food & Beverage functions including corporate parties and weddings
- Stay informed of market trends and participate in culinary exhibitions and seminars
- Other duties as assigned
