Job Requirements
- At least three years of previous experience working in a high-volume restaurant, nightclub, dayclub, entertainment venue or similar related field
- At least one year of previous experience in a leadership / management role in a similar or related field
- At least 21 years of age
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- Ability to obtain Nevada Gaming Registration
- Ability to obtain Alcohol Awareness Card
- Must be tolerant to noise, temperature, illumination and air quality
- Ability to perform prolonged sitting/standing
- Ability to bend and reach
- Ability to transport, push, pull, lift and maneuver items up to 30 lbs
- Good eye/hand coordination
- Ability to comply with policies, procedures and job instructions
Job Qualifications
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word / Excel)
- Knowledge of spirits, wine, champagne, beer and mixed cocktails
- Ability to effectively communicate in English
- Excellent customer service skills
- Polished appearance and demeanor
- Ability to obtain and maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules and regulations, policies and procedures
- Ability to work varied shifts including nights, weekends and holidays
- Working knowledge of POS systems preferred
- Previous experience working in restaurants and/or nightlife / daylife preferred
- Previous experience working in a large, luxury resort setting preferred
Job Duties
- Respond to guest concerns or complaints regarding service or beverages and correct errors or resolve complaints with a positive attitude
- Implement, maintain and provide recommendations on operating standards, policies, and procedures to be followed by line level managers and staff members
- Maintain highest standards of food and beverage quality, guest service, cost control, and consistency in accordance with company expectations
- Assist in hiring, training, management, coaching, counselling, and evaluation of all members of the team
- Assist in the day to day operations of Zouk Group venues including restaurants, lounges, daylife and nightlife
- Ensure sales and expenses are monitored daily and properly tracked
- Oversee accurate completion of daily, weekly, and monthly reports and inventories
- Create weekly schedules related to staffing, cleaning, and third party vendors
- Ensure health, safety, and sanitation requirements follow all relevant department and agency rules
- Perform other duties as assigned
