Job Requirements

  • At least three years of previous experience working in a high-volume restaurant, nightclub, dayclub, entertainment venue or similar related field
  • At least one year of previous experience in a leadership / management role in a similar or related field
  • At least 21 years of age
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
  • Ability to obtain Nevada Gaming Registration
  • Ability to obtain Alcohol Awareness Card
  • Must be tolerant to noise, temperature, illumination and air quality
  • Ability to perform prolonged sitting/standing
  • Ability to bend and reach
  • Ability to transport, push, pull, lift and maneuver items up to 30 lbs
  • Good eye/hand coordination
  • Ability to comply with policies, procedures and job instructions

Job Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word / Excel)
  • Knowledge of spirits, wine, champagne, beer and mixed cocktails
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Polished appearance and demeanor
  • Ability to obtain and maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules and regulations, policies and procedures
  • Ability to work varied shifts including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Working knowledge of POS systems preferred
  • Previous experience working in restaurants and/or nightlife / daylife preferred
  • Previous experience working in a large, luxury resort setting preferred

Job Duties

  • Respond to guest concerns or complaints regarding service or beverages and correct errors or resolve complaints with a positive attitude
  • Implement, maintain and provide recommendations on operating standards, policies, and procedures to be followed by line level managers and staff members
  • Maintain highest standards of food and beverage quality, guest service, cost control, and consistency in accordance with company expectations
  • Assist in hiring, training, management, coaching, counselling, and evaluation of all members of the team
  • Assist in the day to day operations of Zouk Group venues including restaurants, lounges, daylife and nightlife
  • Ensure sales and expenses are monitored daily and properly tracked
  • Oversee accurate completion of daily, weekly, and monthly reports and inventories
  • Create weekly schedules related to staffing, cleaning, and third party vendors
  • Ensure health, safety, and sanitation requirements follow all relevant department and agency rules
  • Perform other duties as assigned
