Job Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
  • 7+ years experience in construction, operations or maintenance management of a large resort, hotel or theme park
  • 2+ years leadership experience
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, early mornings and evenings
  • Consistent attendance
  • Ability to perform essential job functions

Job Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
  • Bachelor’s degree in management or technical discipline preferred
  • 7+ years experience in construction, operations or maintenance management for large resort, hotel or theme park
  • 2+ years leadership experience
  • Strong experience in venue management and partnership with third-party vendors
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Knowledge of Environmental Health and Safety procedures
  • Maintenance Management certification or General Contractor license preferred

Job Duties

  • Manages all facilities and utilities maintenance programs including planned, quick call, discretionary and emergency repairs
  • Develops and enforces maintenance standards ensuring compliance with OSHA, Universal Quality Standards and regulatory authorities
  • Oversees contracted services through scope development, bidding and contract administration for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, elevators, pools, and other specialized equipment
  • Provides leadership, coaching, mentoring and career development to maintenance teams
  • Ensures Environmental Health and Safety policies are followed and builds a culture of safety
  • Drives initiatives to enhance team member satisfaction, guest satisfaction and safety standards
  • Plans and manages routine budgets for capital and expense projects, monitoring financials and labor optimization
  • Facilitates communication within Technical Services and resort leadership for operational readiness and safety
  • Leads special projects and seasonal initiatives focused on sustainability and labor optimization
  • Performs other duties as assigned
