Job Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
  • 7+ years of experience in construction, operations, or maintenance management of a large resort, hotel, or theme park
  • 2+ years of leadership experience
  • experience within a seasonal or regional theme park preferred
  • Maintenance Management certification and/or General Contractor license preferred
  • willing to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • consistent attendance
  • ability to perform job duties satisfactorily
  • adherence to company policies and applicable laws

Job Qualifications

  • Strong experience in venue management and partnership with third-party vendors

  • familiarity with Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) standards

Job Duties

  • Manages all aspects of the facilities and utilities maintenance program including planned, quick call, discretionary, and emergency repair work
  • develops and refines maintenance standards and ensures OSHA and Universal Quality Standards compliance
  • secures reliable and cost-effective contracted services via scope development, competitive bidding, and contract oversight
  • oversees partnerships with third-party vendors for major repairs including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, elevators, restaurant equipment, and pool maintenance
  • manages and leads the team by providing leadership, coaching, mentoring, and career development
  • drives and executes plans to improve Team Member satisfaction, Guest satisfaction, and safety standards
  • facilitates effective communication across Technical Services and UKR leadership for safety, show quality, and operational readiness
  • plans, prepares, and manages routine budgets for capital and expense projects
  • actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities according to UDX policies
