Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in political science, public relations, communications, business administration, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of legislative, community relations, government, or external affairs experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong organizational skills
- Effective verbal, written communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to interact with and influence diverse groups including elected officials and community organizations
- Consistent attendance

Job Duties
- Manage Universal Kids Resort's team member engagement programs including volunteer and matching gifts programs
- Partner with nonprofit organizations to identify volunteer opportunities and measure community impact
- Oversee charitable giving programs and manage donation fulfillment
- Research and track local ordinances and state legislation, provide updates to internal stakeholders
- Draft briefing papers on issues related to tourism, transportation, and business regulation
- Serve as primary contact for UKR external communications and coordinate with UDX Corporate Communications
- Support crisis planning and response efforts for UKR
- Manage business and industry association relationships including board membership and sponsorship
- Monitor government agendas and coordinate meetings between elected officials and subject matter experts
- Manage political giving and ensure compliance with government laws and corporate guidelines
- Participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities
- Perform other duties as assigned
