Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in marketing, communication, or business administration required
  • Minimum 5 years of corporate event planning experience
  • Proven previous management experience
  • Ability to handle multiple events and budgets simultaneously
  • Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills
  • Experience with new event technologies and large-scale logistics management
  • Ability to analyze event data and prepare presentations for leadership
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
  • Willingness to travel up to 30%
  • Hybrid work model with required in-office presence three days a week

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in marketing, communication, or business administration
  • 5+ years of experience planning events in a corporate environment
  • Previous people management experience
  • Skilled in leading and developing event planning teams
  • Experience managing multiple simultaneous events including timelines and budgets
  • Ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors
  • Experience negotiating vendor contracts and managing contractual risks
  • Proficiency in implementing new technologies and creative event formats
  • Capable of managing logistics for large-scale events including transportation, accommodations, and security
  • Skilled in data-driven event performance measurement and presentation to senior leadership
  • Willingness to travel up to 30%

Job Duties

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of corporate event planners
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, identify professional development opportunities
  • Plan and execute events or workstreams as assigned, supporting meeting strategies
  • Manage budgets, register events, negotiate with vendors on travel, accommodations, food and beverage, audio visual and transportation
  • Develop and maintain relationships with business partners and cross-functional teams
  • Communicate with stakeholders on event progress, budget, post-event follow-up, and reconciliation
  • Support strategic direction and operational implementation by translating organizational goals into actionable event strategies
  • Oversee allocation of resources and event assignments to ensure balanced workloads and successful event execution
  • Develop, document, and implement standardized processes, templates, and best practices for event planning, budgeting, vendor management, and post-event analysis
  • Oversee events budget and planner dashboards to ensure events stay within budget and timelines
