Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Five years of events related experience
- Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others
- Ability to work with a wide range of clientele from student groups to professional event planners
- Ability to manage teams of employees in event execution
- Ability to work evenings as this is an evening based position
- Must be able to lift, move, carry heavy objects
- Availability to work Monday through Friday 1:00pm to 10:00pm and weekends or mornings as needed with special events

Job Duties
- Provide leadership and customer support in planning and executing UCEN event facilities
- Coordinate with clients throughout the event planning process from conception to execution
- Schedule space, equipment, and staffing for events, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed
- Design event diagrams or CAD drawings to meet client expectations
- Manage communications with sponsors and sponsoring agencies regarding event planning details
- Maintain and distribute facility and event calendars for multiple university venues
- Oversee and train staff responsible for event setup, execution, and equipment removal
- Develop and maintain training materials and conduct training sessions for new employees
- Assist with concessions, expressive activity events, and risk review processes
- Serve as representative for Event Services Associate Director in their absence
- Perform other duties as assigned
