Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in event management, hospitality, marketing, or related field
  • 4-6 years of experience in corporate event planning or trade show logistics
  • Proven experience in hotel room block coordination and travel logistics
  • Experience managing large-scale events and customer logistics
  • Strong leadership potential
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Project management experience
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in fast-paced environments
  • Proficiency in G-Suite tools, Microsoft Office, project management and event management platforms
  • CMP certification preferred
  • Ability to travel and work extended hours during events

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in event management, hospitality, marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum 4-6 years of progressive experience in corporate event planning or trade show logistics
  • Proven experience with hotel room block coordination and travel logistics
  • Experience managing aspects of large-scale events and high-touch customer logistics
  • Strong leadership potential
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Project management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in G-Suite, Microsoft Office, project management platforms like Asana, and event management tools such as Cvent
  • CMP certification is a plus
  • Ability to travel and work extended hours during events

Job Duties

  • Assist the Director in planning and executing customer-facing logistics for Orgill's annual Dealer Market
  • Oversee hotel block management, attendee registration, transportation logistics, and meeting room scheduling
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors to ensure a high-quality attendee experience
  • Contribute to event planning timelines, staffing schedules, and communication strategies
  • Support the implementation of innovative event technologies and engagement strategies
  • Manage scheduling, development, and execution of events at the Orgill Innovation Center
  • Supervise a team of event professionals and service providers ensuring seamless event execution
