Job Requirements

  • bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • minimum 3+ years of experience in event operations, hospitality, or theme parks
  • ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • strong background in special events and union environments
  • excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
  • commitment to delivering exceptional guest memorable moments
  • proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • professional appearance in line with USH standards
  • flexibility for additional duties as assigned

Job Duties

  • develop event prospectuses and communications for internal and external stakeholders
  • support budget creation and financial tracking
  • prepare event recaps as directed
  • manage operational planning for events including social gatherings, activations, picnics, park buyouts, and annual passholder events
  • coordinate logistics such as site requests, construction elements, and guest flow
  • partner with entry teams for registration, ticketing, and entry processes
  • act as event lead for assigned events throughout the year
  • monitor park street closures and guest experience during operational impacts
  • participate in OPX meetings and provide operational updates
  • supervise event operations and hospitality staff including union team members ensuring compliance with collective bargaining agreements
  • maintain the event operations master calendar and contribute to bi-weekly meetings
  • collaborate with corporate communications on sound ordinance compliance and assist with hiring LAPS representatives as needed
  • build strong relationships with internal event teams and support employee development initiatives
  • oversee VIP hospitality for select events such as FFN, HHN, and EVE
  • provide on-site support during events and assist with VIP/Special Events reporting
  • full-time, on-site role at an NBCUniversal-designated location
