Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age by the start of employment
- 4-year Bachelor’s Degree or education and experience equivalence
- Minimum 4 years previous experience in A/V as an A/V event production manager or technician
- Advanced knowledge of Ross Acuity switcher, Ross Xpression, Evertz Dream Catcher, live production room equipment such as Evertz routers and audio systems
- Intermediate experience in Adobe Creative Suite
- High level of knowledge and experience with file types and conversion codes for content execution
- Prior history of managing part-time staff and control room positions
- Understanding of event production, live sports broadcasting and game of baseball
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong work ethic and leadership qualities
- Willingness to research workflow improvements
- Fluent in English, Spanish a plus
- Able to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings, holidays and extended hours
- Able to travel and access various areas of the ballpark
- Able to lift and transport up to 25 pounds
- Successful completion of background check
Job Qualifications

- Intermediate experience with Adobe Creative Suite for editing
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to manage part-time staff and control room positions
- Knowledge of event production, live sports broadcasting, and familiarity with baseball and the Padres organization
- Proficient computer skills including MS Office
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills
- Fluency in English, Spanish a plus
- Leadership qualities and positive attitude
Job Duties
- Overseeing Event A/V control room operations for Petco Park and Gallagher Square shows and concerts
- Serving as Technical Director as needed for the 9 videoboards, 10 LED ribbon boards, and routing feeds for the ballpark televisions
- Planning and set up for Petco Park event production and Gallagher Square stage shows, serving as a technical and content lead
- Pre-loading graphics and other videos and A/V elements for the event and working directly with the Petco Park Events and clients
- Managing events such as High School Baseball games, Member batting practices and corporate events
- Executing all internal AV requests in the Auditorium, Clubs & Suites including corporate meetings
- Collaborating with the part-time audio crew, providing instruction during events
- Operating Ross Acuity multi-ME video production switcher, Ross Xpression, Dashboard, Evertz Dreamcatcher, Evertz routers, video processors, multi-viewers, clips playback, audio and LED stadium lighting cues
- Loading and operating Daktronics show control for LED ribbons and event production
- Editing videos using Adobe Premiere and After Effects for control room playback
- Executing third party vendor software for social media activation and app interface
- Collaborating with senior staff to create high-level event and Padres productions
- Assuming other responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Event Production & Video Engineering
