Austin FC is a professional soccer club that joined Major League Soccer (MLS) as its 27th club in January 2019. Since beginning competition in the league in April 2021, Austin FC has rapidly established itself as a prominent presence in the soccer community. For the 2025 season, the team qualified for the MLS Cup Playoffs and also reached and hosted the final of the U.S. Open Cup. Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Nonprofit Management, Public Administration or similar area
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in nonprofit development, fundraising operations, or event-based fundraising
- Strong experience with donor CRM/database systems
- Excellent attention to detail and strong verbal and written communication skills
- Understanding of donor stewardship and fundraising best practices
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate with others
- English language proficiency

- Ability to work variable hours including early mornings, late evenings, weekends and some holidays
Job Qualifications

- Strong experience with donor CRM/database systems and comfort learning new platforms
- Excellent attention to detail and an outstanding work ethic paired with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated understanding of donor stewardship, fundraising best practices, and event-based donor engagement
- Strong interpersonal skills to connect with donors, corporate partners, vendors, and other stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, collaborate with teammates, and delegate effectively
- English language proficiency is essential and Spanish/English bilingual skills are a plus
- Commitment to diversity and inclusion both internally and externally
Job Duties
- Lead all donor database management including data integrity, gift entry, reporting, segmentation and reconciliation
- Build and maintain systems that improve accuracy and efficiency across donor records, acknowledgments and internal pipelines
- Create dashboards and tracking mechanisms for donor prospects, renewals, pledges, event commitments and stewardship touchpoints
- Identify opportunities for automation, process improvement and increased efficiency in development operations
- Manage the end-of-year donor thank-you plan and process, ensuring all donors receive timely, accurate and personalized acknowledgements
- Work with the Development and Operations Coordinator to plan and execute all matchday and stadium fundraising activities, ensuring accurate, timely reporting and adjusting strategies as needed to meet revenue goals
- Collaborate with the 4ATX Foundation’s Marketing team to create matchday and stadium fundraising marketing plans and collateral that reaches and engages existing and new donors
- Collaborate with the 4ATX Foundation’s Development and Marketing teams to build a cohesive general donor engagement strategy
- Support major fundraising events, including A Night in Verde, top donor experiences, and year-round stewardship gatherings
- Manage event-related donor data, including ticketing, table commitments, RSVP tracking, guest lists, seating, and post-event fundraising reconciliation
- Manage and steward a portfolio of 4ATX Hat Trick Society donors
- Support all stages of donor stewardship, including personalized outreach, thank-you processes, benefit fulfillment, and annual giving cycles
- Supervise and support the Development and Operations Coordinator to ensure effective execution of development activities
