Job Requirements

  • Experience with import/export compliance
  • Certified Customs Broker and Licensed Attorney preferred
  • Knowledge of EAR and ITAR regulations
  • Certification as Trade Compliance Specialist or Certified Customs Specialist
  • Working knowledge of NAFTA and other trade agreements
  • Ability to understand complex customs regulations and rulings
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship

Job Qualifications

  • Experience with import/export compliance, including customs regulations and international trade
  • Certified Customs Broker and Licensed Attorney
  • EAR and ITAR experience
  • Licensed Customs Broker, Certified Trade Compliance Specialist and/or Certified Customs Specialist
  • Working knowledge of NAFTA and other trade agreements and special customs procedures

Job Duties

  • Responsible for trade compliance content and expertise throughout the company
  • Contribute to development and implementation of new tools, processes and business capabilities
  • Understand customer needs in non-standard and complex situations
  • Create and maintain instructions and document processes in own responsibility area
  • Research customs regulations and rulings and communicate with internal clients and external customs brokers
  • Determine FTA qualification based on applicable Rules of Origin and assist in preparing documentation
  • Maintain appropriate documentation to substantiate origin determinations
  • Perform other duties as assigned
