Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business
  • 3+ years of cost accounting, financial analysis or business experience
  • ability to work a flexible and varying schedule based on business needs
  • consistent attendance
  • ability to perform essential functions with reasonable accommodation
  • supervisory experience
  • compliance with organizational policies and applicable laws

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business
  • CPA preferred
  • 3+ years of cost accounting, financial analysis or business experience
  • ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily
  • knowledge of financial reporting and budget development
  • leadership and supervisory skills
  • understanding of Environmental, Health and Safety responsibilities
  • effective communication and problem-solving skills

Job Duties

  • Tracks costs
  • researches financial variances
  • provides explanations and recommends solutions to management
  • prepares cost estimates and analyses for special projects
  • makes recommendations regarding operational decisions relative to projects
  • executes month-end close journal entries
  • processes and balances sheet account reconciliations within required deadlines
  • prepares financial reports summarizing and detailing the performance of venues
  • guides operating division management in the development of annual operating budgets
  • supervises Cost Analyst by providing leadership, coaching, mentoring, career development, and performance management
  • ensures Cost Analyst is meeting all objectives and accountabilities
  • participates in Environmental, Health and Safety responsibilities by following established policies, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities
  • performs other duties as assigned
