  • Negotiate contracts with clients and vendors to optimize profitability
  • Oversee event setup, including room layouts, audiovisual equipment, and decor
  • Manage event staff, including trainers, technicians, and servers
  • Monitor event flow and address any issues or challenges that may arise
  • Ensure adherence to safety and security protocols
  • Evaluate event performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Collect and analyze feedback from clients and attendees
  • Prepare detailed event reports, including financial summaries
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients to foster future business
  • Recruit, hire, and train conference services staff
  • Provide ongoing training and development opportunities
  • Motivate and inspire the team to deliver exceptional service
  • Conduct performance reviews and address performance issues
  • Monitor and control event budgets
  • Track revenue and expenses
