Job Requirements
- bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- three years of progressively responsible experience in event or facility rental planning and coordination
- one year of experience overseeing logistics, schedules or serving in a lead capacity
- ability to handle physical requirements including sitting for long periods and lifting items up to 25 pounds
- strong ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively
- effective oral and written communication skills
- willingness to demonstrate sensitivity to diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural and ethnic backgrounds
Job Qualifications

- knowledge of principles and practices of planning, scheduling and coordinating events
- knowledge of marketing and promotion methods

- familiarity with current and emerging technologies supporting events
- ability to manage budgets and supervise employees
- strong communication and customer service skills
Job Duties
- plan, schedule and coordinate facilities rentals, activities and services to optimize facility usage and maximize district revenue
- research, identify and track available spaces for facility rentals
- serve as the district's primary liaison for inquiries, site visits and logistics
- prepare, monitor and maintain facilities use agreements
- develop fee schedules, rental rates and cost estimates
- review and identify marketing strategies to promote the use of district spaces
- supervise staff and manage event logistics and equipment setup
