Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of three years of experience in event or facilities management or related roles
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and maintain positive relationships
  • Competence in budgeting and preparing financial reports
  • Ability to use technology for event and facility management
  • Commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion
  • Ability to supervise and direct staff
  • Availability to work flexible hours as needed

  • Experience developing policies and improving operational effectiveness

Job Duties

  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate facilities rentals, activities, and services to optimize usage and revenue
  • Research, identify, and track available spaces for facility rentals
  • Serve as the primary liaison for internal and external inquiries and coordinate site visits
  • Prepare, monitor, and maintain Facilities Use agreements and verify insurance documentation
  • Develop fee schedules, rental rates, and cost estimates and coordinate billing and fee collection
  • Review and identify marketing strategies to promote facility usage and increase district revenue
  • Supervise classified staff, temporary employees, and student workers, provide work direction, and evaluate performance
  • Prepare financial and facility usage reports and maintain web-based event calendaring software
  • Assist in developing policies, processes, and strategies, including program review and quality assessment
  • Monitor compliance with legal requirements and handle conflict resolution and complaints
  • Coordinate and oversee technology implementation and event support logistics
  • Participate in and chair campus committees and task forces as assigned
