Job Requirements
- High school or GED diploma minimum
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or commensurate work experience
- 5+ years’ experience selling products and system solutions to corporate decision-makers
- Ability to leverage resources within a large corporate sales environment
- Desire to understand an evolving market continuously
- Self-starter who excels in solo and team selling
- Strong follow-up discipline
- Active listening and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Interest or ability to learn machine learning tools
- Excellent communication skills
- Willingness to attend industry events and internal training
- Ability to travel up to 70%
- Fluent knowledge of sustainable and green built environment standards like LEED, HPD, EPD, Greenguard preferred
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs of materials
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred with specialization in related curricula
- 5+ years experience in the door hardware or security industry or related field
- Strong selling and relationship-building skills
- Excellent active listening and negotiation skills
- Ability to prioritize projects and clients efficiently
- Above average knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
- Ability or desire to learn machine learning tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to develop interactive and compelling presentations
- Ability to speak fluently about sustainable building solutions
- Willingness to travel extensively up to 70%
Job Duties
- Lead efforts to identify, create, manage, and develop relationships with data center owners and stakeholders
- Participate in business development and relationship management with legacy data center end users and channel partners
- Develop and maintain tools such as market research, business development strategies, and marketing content
- Create demand through mature selling techniques, lead management, and project tracking
- Develop and manage relationships with contract hardware distributors, electronic access control, and wholesale partners
- Translate customer feedback into presentations, marketing materials, and collateral
- Monitor and support related markets such as chip manufacturing and EV battery industries
- Collaborate with ASSA ABLOY Groups for cross-selling and joint marketing activities
- Perform responsibilities in accordance with company standards, policies, and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
