Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- One to three years related experience or training preferred
- One to three years supervisory experience required
- Must meet state and federal minimum age for serving alcohol if applicable
- Current Food Handlers Card
- TIPS Certification
- Computer literate with Microsoft Office including Excel
- Knowledge of restaurant database software
- Knowledge of county regulations
- Ability to implement dining standards
- Ability to write reports
- Basic computational and budget analysis skills
- Planning and problem-solving skills
- Decision-making and delegation abilities
- Time management skills

- Excellent communication skills

- Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends

Job Qualifications

- One to three years experience supervising a team or in a supervisory role required
- Must meet minimum age requirements for serving alcohol if applicable
- Current Food Handlers Card and TIPS Certification
- Computer literate with Microsoft Office skills including Excel
- Knowledge of restaurant database software a plus
- Knowledgeable about county regulations
- Ability to understand and implement BlueStar Resort and Golf dining standards
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Basic computational ability and budgetary analysis skills
- Planning, problem-solving, decision-making, delegation, time management, and employee development skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and timeliness
- Initiative and sound independent decision-making
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
- Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- Valid driver’s license required
Job Duties
- Communicate the core values and mission of BlueStar Resort and Golf to support company goals
- Ensure superior standards of food service and quality meeting employee and guest expectations
- Work with the Catering and Sales Manager and/or Food and Beverage Manager
- Interview, hire, train, schedule, supervise, and support banquet staff
- Oversee banquet staff and kitchen coordination to ensure quality and timeliness of food preparation
- Manage all food and beverage functions including corporate events and weddings
- Maintain effective communication regarding banquet operations, safety, and employee concerns
- Work with event supervisors during functions to provide full coordination
- Provide operational reports and budget support as requested
- Perform other duties as assigned
