Job Requirements

  • Minimum three years experience in catering supervisory or management roles
  • Completion of Advanced Food Safety Training (AFST)
  • Proven leadership skills in managing, motivating and developing a team
  • Strong client relationship management abilities
  • Competence in controlling food and labour costs
  • Detail-oriented with ability to work effectively within a team
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and other relevant software

Job Qualifications

  • Three or more years of catering supervisory or management experience
  • Advanced Food Safety Training (AFST)
  • Strong management skills with ability to motivate, lead and develop associates
  • Excellent client relationship-building and communication skills
  • Ability to control food and labour costs
  • Detail-oriented and strong team player
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable with multiple supporting programs

Job Duties

  • Manage operations and maintain profitable banquets while achieving revenue targets and budgeted margins
  • Ensure safe operational standards and efficiency related to banquets and catering management
  • Manage, schedule, and supervise all banquet staff and participate in employee training and development
  • Ensure appropriate inventory and supply levels for high-quality delivery of client banquets and catered events
  • Implement sales strategy and tactics to deliver quality products and exceed guest expectations
  • Arrange completion of event details while maintaining profitable operations with quality products and service levels
  • Serve as liaison between clients and Park Hospitality banquet team to ensure successful events and generate new and repeat business
