Job Requirements
- Minimum three years experience in catering supervisory or management roles
- Completion of Advanced Food Safety Training (AFST)
- Proven leadership skills in managing, motivating and developing a team
- Strong client relationship management abilities
- Competence in controlling food and labour costs
- Detail-oriented with ability to work effectively within a team
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and other relevant software
Job Qualifications
- Three or more years of catering supervisory or management experience
- Advanced Food Safety Training (AFST)
- Strong management skills with ability to motivate, lead and develop associates
- Excellent client relationship-building and communication skills
- Ability to control food and labour costs
- Detail-oriented and strong team player
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable with multiple supporting programs
Job Duties
- Manage operations and maintain profitable banquets while achieving revenue targets and budgeted margins
- Ensure safe operational standards and efficiency related to banquets and catering management
- Manage, schedule, and supervise all banquet staff and participate in employee training and development
- Ensure appropriate inventory and supply levels for high-quality delivery of client banquets and catered events
- Implement sales strategy and tactics to deliver quality products and exceed guest expectations
- Arrange completion of event details while maintaining profitable operations with quality products and service levels
- Serve as liaison between clients and Park Hospitality banquet team to ensure successful events and generate new and repeat business
