Job Requirements

  • 2-3 years of food and beverage service background and prior hospitality experience
  • experience in supervising banquet venue staff
  • extensive knowledge of catering equipment and venue requirements
  • in-depth knowledge of hospitality industry best practices
  • food and beverage experience
  • must be able to work weekends and holidays
  • TABC certificate and food handlers certificate required
  • maintain positive and productive working relationship with other employees and departments

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Designing and implementing event plans
  • supervising employees and preparing staff schedules
  • monitoring production of food and beverage to meet quality standards
  • ensuring necessary equipment and materials are available
  • making sure event setup is completed in an efficient and timely manner
  • inspecting event setup to ensure it meets quality standards
  • maintaining records and organizing paperwork
  • other duties as assigned
