Proven experience in banquet or event management
ability to oversee staff and coordinate multiple tasks

Job Qualifications

Experience in banquet management
strong organizational and leadership skills
excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
proficiency in event planning and execution
negotiation skills
ability to manage staff schedules
knowledge of food and beverage quality standards

Job Duties

Designing and implementing event plans
supervising employees and preparing staff schedules
monitoring production of food & beverage to meet quality standards
ensuring necessary equipment & materials are available
making sure event setup is completed in an efficient and timely manner
inspecting event setup to ensure it meets quality standards
maintaining records & organizing paperwork
other duties as assigned
