Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in sport management, business administration or related field required
- Minimum of five years of relevant experience in event management or related field required
- Minimum of three years in a management capacity leading large-scale, complex events with direct reports preferred
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office required
- Able to learn new software programs and systems
- Must be able to work irregular hours including weekends, holidays, games, and special events
- Must be physically capable of accessing all locations in T-Mobile Park including stairs, ramps, and concourses
- Ability to stand and walk on concrete surfaces for duration of events
- Must have functional near and far vision
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
- Capable of performing repetitive motions required for clerical functions
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in sport management, business administration or related field preferred
- Minimum of five years of relevant experience in event management or related field required
- Minimum of three years in a management capacity leading large-scale events with direct reports preferred
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Experience leading events in a sport facility preferred
- Experience with Social Tables preferred
Job Duties
- Manage, train, evaluate, and foster growth of team members
- Lead and execute non-baseball events coordinating with operations, support staff, and relevant stakeholders
- Work closely with Coordinator, Ballpark Operations and Manager, Conversion to deploy the Ballpark Event Operations Crew efficiently
- Partner with Event Sales department to provide guidance on operational planning and costs for events
- Evaluate, improve, and enhance intradepartmental communications
- Manage event execution from confirmation to completion serving as the central point of communication
- Serve as a client liaison during event planning providing excellent customer service
- Meet with ballpark clients to determine event needs and offer creative solutions
- Prepare comprehensive documentation including floor plans and code compliance
- Coordinate with Event Sales to control and reduce event costs
- Coordinate with department heads for timely staff scheduling
- Communicate event details and department requests efficiently
- Serve as Ballpark representative enforcing T-Mobile Park practices and procedures
- Lead with a positive attitude demonstrating commitment to all team members
- Follow organizational labor guidelines and policies ensuring compliance
- Support and champion Mariners Way programs
- Act as Front Office liaison maintaining communication channels
- Troubleshoot and solve team member and guest issues
- Perform other duties as assigned
