Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Five years of experience in event planning and execution
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others
- Knowledge of NCAA and University rules and regulations
- Experience coordinating with multiple internal departments and external vendors
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, Five years of experience in event planning and execution, Experience in client and stakeholder coordination, Experience in administrative and operational support, Preferred experience in athletics or large venue operations, Preferred experience in staff supervision and training, Skilled in financial processing and event billing
Job Duties
- Assist the Assistant Athletic Director with large event planning, Oversee major events at athletic facilities, Coordinate with clients and vendors for event logistics, Serve as on-site manager during events including setup and tear down, Recruit, train and schedule event staff, Coordinate meeting room scheduling and event requests, Ensure compliance with safety regulations and NCAA rules
