Job Duties
- assist the general manager in planning and analyzing administration and operations manpower
- ensure all menu items are prepared, portioned, and presented properly in a clean, safe, and sanitary manner
- perform/assist all functions for all positions in the restaurant under certain circumstances
- ensure compliance to productivity and service standards with a sufficient number of well-trained employees
- manage the facility and equipment through preventive maintenance, energy conservation, repairs, security, and safety adherence
- maintain inventory levels for food and non-food items according to company guidelines
- conduct employment activities including staffing, training, performance reviews, salary recommendations, and issuing work histories
- ensure accurate financial data including payroll, cash, receipts, food costs, and operating expenses
- attend unit management meetings and make presentations as requested
- anticipate, identify, and correct system breakdowns to achieve maximum guest satisfaction
- ensure thorough training and development of supervised non-exempt personnel
