Holy Cross Hospital Mountain Point is a 40-bed full-service hospital located in Lehi, Utah. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to read, write and speak English
  • basic computer skills
  • associate's degree in culinary arts or hospitality management preferred
  • commensurate experience may be considered in lieu of degree
  • Food Service Safe Certification (CPFS) preferred
  • ability to exert up to 50 pounds occasionally and up to 20 pounds frequently

Job Duties

  • Assist with creating patient and retail service standards and ensure they are met
  • conduct sanitation audits and performance audits regularly
  • identify learning needs and manage training processes for staff
  • follow purchasing agreements and compliance goals set by departmental leadership
  • direct all patient non-interactive positions and maintain regulatory compliance and infection control practices
  • maintain communication with staff and customers regarding service levels and promote patient satisfaction
  • conduct frequent patient rounding and visitations
  • ensure regulatory standards are integrated into nutrition programs and coordinate with other departments
  • maintain adequate staffing and assign workload reflecting cost efficiency
  • recruit, hire and manage performance of staff
  • conduct job shadowing audits
  • provide coaching if service standards are not met
  • collaborate in the menu development for patient, cafeteria, and catering services focusing on culinary excellence and sustainability
  • participate in hospital committees
  • oversee and plan menus for special events and catering
  • perform other duties as assigned
