Job Requirements

  • High school graduate general studies
  • 2 years of leadership experience or 3 years culinary education and experience
  • SERVSAFE Manager certification upon hire
  • Servsafe General Certification within 60 days
  • Registered Dietitian or Certified Dietary Manager within 24 months
  • Associates degree in Culinary Arts or Hospitality Management or equivalent experience preferred

Job Qualifications

  • High school graduate general studies with 2 years of leadership experience or three years of combined culinary education and experience
  • SERVSAFE Manager certification upon hire
  • Servsafe General Certification within 60 days of hire
  • Registered Dietitian within 24 months or Certified Dietary Manager within 24 months
  • Associates degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or equivalent experience considered

Job Duties

  • Assist with creating patient and retail service standards and ensure they are met
  • Conduct sanitation audits and performance audits consistently according to departmental schedules
  • Identify learning needs and opportunities for staff and manage the instructional process
  • Follow purchasing agreements and compliance goals set by Food and Nutrition Services leadership
  • Assist management with compliance audits at applicable campuses
  • Direct patient non-interactive positions such as storeroom clerks and cooks and manage their operational needs
  • Maintain regulatory compliance and infection control practices
  • Maintain communication with staff and customers regarding service levels and promote patient satisfaction
