Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 2 years leadership experience or 3 years combined culinary education and experience
  • Servsafe Manager certification at hire
  • obtain Servsafe General Certification within 60 days
  • obtain Registered Dietician or Dietitian certification within 24 months
  • obtain Certified Dietary Manager certification within 24 months
  • associates degree preferred but not required
  • ability to adhere to all safety and sanitation standards
  • strong leadership and communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school graduate general studies with 2 years of leadership experience or 3 years equivalent combination of culinary education and experience
  • Servsafe Manager certification upon hire
  • Servsafe General Certification within 60 days
  • Registered Dietician or Registered Dietitian within 24 months
  • Certified Dietary Manager within 24 months
  • associates degree in culinary arts, hospitality management, or commensurate experience considered

Job Duties

  • Assists with creating patient and retail service standards and ensuring they are met
  • conducts sanitation audits and performance audits regularly per departmental frequencies
  • identifies staff learning needs and manages training processes
  • follows purchasing agreements and compliance goals set by Food and Nutrition Services leadership
  • directs patient non-interactive positions such as storeroom clerks and cooks and manages their operational needs
  • maintains regulatory compliance and infection control practices
  • communicates with staff and customers regarding service levels and promotes patient satisfaction with nutritional services
