Job Requirements
- Minimum of 15 years of progressive institutional experience in food service operations
- Culinary Arts Degree
- Executive Chef experience managing high volume production and catering operations
- Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification within 36 months
- ServSafe certification within 12 months
- Strong knowledge of food and nutrition services
- Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, guidelines, and professional standards
- Strong project management skills
- Good communication skills
- Good strategic planning skills
- Strong change management skills
- High level of motivation

Job Duties
- Collaborate with management to achieve campus food service objectives
- Assist in planning, implementing standards, and evaluating strategies for food and nutrition services
- Develop, integrate, and coordinate all kitchen operations and patient service operations at the primary site and system-wide
- Prepare and oversee the preparation of hot and cold foods using established techniques and standards
- Follow standardized recipes, portion control, and presentation standards
- Taste completed meals to ensure quality
- Store, label, and rework unused portions of food properly
- Organize and maintain raw ingredients and cooked food flow to minimize waste and shortages
- Oversee and plan food special events and catering
- Travel to other hospitals as needed
- Ensure adequate inventory of food products and supplies
- Follow purchasing agreements and food specifications provided by the Division Director
