Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree or equivalent
- Five years experience in air traffic control flow management dealing with FAA or Eurocontrol traffic management initiatives
- FAA management experience required
- Ability to work variable shifts covering a 24 hour, 7 day per week operations
- Ability to maintain a constant state of alertness and operate safely in a safety sensitive environment
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor degree or equivalent
- Five years experience in air traffic control flow management
- Experience working with FAA and Eurocontrol traffic management initiatives
- Strong understanding of airspace and procedure design processes
- Operational knowledge of FAA, ATCSCC, Eurocontrol CFMU computer systems including FSM, TMA and TSD
- Familiarity with NextGen capabilities and equipage requirements
- Strong organizational, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
Job Duties
- Manage air traffic flow planning, enact and communicate flow management decisions worldwide
- Participate in airspace and procedure design activities to enhance flight safety and efficiency
- Collaborate in FedEx fleet planning regarding NextGen equipage and procedures
- Represent FedEx interests in flight operations industry activities
- Manage flight database functions and route assignments for FedEx global flight operations
- Interpret aviation weather reports and charts to inform operational decisions
- Perform other duties as assigned
