Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field preferred
  • minimum of 3 years experience in restaurant management
  • demonstrated ability to develop and manage budgets
  • proficient in financial analysis and reporting
  • experience in marketing and promotional activities
  • strong negotiation and contract management skills
  • familiarity with health and safety regulations
  • excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Job Duties

  • Meet restaurant financial objectives by developing financing
  • establish banking relationships
  • prepare strategic and annual forecasts and budgets
  • analyze variances and initiate corrective actions
  • establish and monitor financial controls
  • develop and implement strategies to increase average meal checks
  • attract patrons by developing and implementing marketing, advertising, public and community relations programs
  • evaluate program results
  • identify and track changing demands
  • control purchases and inventory by meeting with the General Manager, Director of Operations and Bar Manager
  • negotiate prices and contracts
  • develop preferred supplier lists
  • review and evaluate usage reports
  • analyze variances and take corrective actions
  • maintain patron satisfaction by monitoring, evaluating, and auditing food, beverage, and service offerings
  • initiate improvements
  • build relationships with preferred patrons
  • maintain safe, secure, and healthy facility environment by establishing, following, and enforcing sanitation standards and procedures
  • comply with health and legal regulations
  • maintain security systems
