Job Requirements

  • Have a four-year degree or equivalent experience
  • minimum of 3000 flight hours including 500 hours as jet PIC
  • possess a First Class Medical certificate
  • hold an ATP or Commercial License
  • meet currency requirements for instrument flight time and night landings
  • pass instrument competency check in category of aircraft flown
  • be located within one hour of assigned base
  • be able to lift 50 lbs

Job Qualifications

  • recent corporate flying experience
  • hold a First Class Medical certificate
  • possess an ATP or Commercial License
  • meet all currency requirements for instrument flight time and night landings
  • pass an instrument competency check for aircraft category flown
  • be located within one hour of assigned base
  • be able to lift 50 lbs

Job Duties

  • Ensure safety and quality are administered in support of a just culture
  • submit hazard reports without fear of reprisal when critical to safety and quality
  • determine that crew members are legally licensed, adequately rested, and properly dressed
  • plan flight assignments and obtain briefing information regarding flight purpose, weather, procedures, and instructions
  • prepare or supervise flight plan considering altitude, terrain, weather, range, weight, performance, fuel, airport facilities and navigational aids
  • supervise crewmembers for proper planning and flight preparations
  • ensure aircraft has received proper preflight inspection and is equipped for flight
  • supervise loading and distribution of cargo and passengers, ensure weight and balance is within limits
  • ensure cargo and passenger comfort and emergency equipment provisions
  • file appropriate flight plans for each flight
  • operate aircraft at favorable altitudes considering turbulence, oxygen and passenger comfort
  • ensure preparation of flight logs, records and maintenance forms
  • serve as designated Ground Security Coordinator and In-flight Coordinator for flights
