Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Twelve months of brokerage, transportation, or customer service experience
- Proficiency with MS Office and Outlook
- Experience with office equipment including phone, fax, photocopier, printer, and scanner
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to interact effectively with customers, internal staff, and management of all levels

Job Duties
- Engage and collaborate with internal and external customers to facilitate fast, accurate, and compliant transactions with Customs and Border Protection and Partner Government Agencies
- Facilitate entry processing, pre-arrival and post-arrival exception resolution
- Prepare, analyze, and submit documentation to Customs and Border Protection and Partner Government Agencies
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers' front-line personnel
- Support Account Administrators with account management activities such as exception logs and special spreadsheets
- Perform root cause analysis as directed by Account Administrators
- Research and resolve customer billing issues
- Coordinate post-entry activities on the customer’s behalf
- Manage the entry verification process
- Sort and assign department workload
- Access client systems as necessary
- Correspond with business partners through written, phone, or email communication
- Produce operational trend reports
- Keep business partners informed of the exception process
- Respond to pre-alerts as needed per customer SOP
- Maintain general knowledge of FedEx products and services
- Perform other duties as assigned
