Job Requirements

  • At least 21 years of age or older on start date
  • Experience in malting or food/beverage manufacturing preferred
  • Ability to operate a computer
  • Clear communication skills
  • Physical ability to stand, lift, and walk for extended periods
  • Willingness to work a rotating 4x4 schedule
  • Ability to follow GMP and CIP compliance standards
  • Self accountability and ability to work with minimal supervision

Job Qualifications

  • Experience as Malting in a manufacturing environment and/or working knowledge of Malting operations preferred
  • Familiar with operating a computer
  • Clear communication ability
  • Comfortable with the physical requirements of this position including standing, lifting, walking
  • Working knowledge of malting processes and experience in food/beverage manufacturing is ideal
  • Must be at least 21 years of age or older on start date

Job Duties

  • Maintain EH&S awareness at all times and compliance with safety training
  • Build positive relationships with all team members and schedules, and support conflict resolution between team members
  • Prioritize activities to support all areas of Malting while leveraging team members with minimal or no supervision
  • Monitor and provide feedback on process areas to assure compliance and appropriate decision making within process/recipe parameters
  • Engage in communication and problem resolution with all support groups as required to perform work activities
  • Verify, correct, and distribute accurate inventory and accounting records, log sheets, scorecards and other shift paperwork
  • Coordinate flow and track all production support materials, chemicals, etc.
  • Perform shift tie-in functions with all shifts daily
  • Support improvements in the areas of safety, quality, productivity, service, and people
  • Execute and coordinate autonomous maintenance on equipment
  • Troubleshoot equipment, work with Malting Specialists to write work orders, obtain approvals and ensure completion of work orders
  • Perform other work as assigned
