Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of caregiving experience for seniors or adults
- Ability to communicate effectively and perform caregiving duties
- Successful completion of criminal background check, BMV check, TB test, and drug screening
- Possession of a valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
- Physical fitness to perform duties involving stooping, reaching, and lifting
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including mornings, days, evenings, nights, and weekends
- Commitment to caregiving with compassion and reliability
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year experience caring for seniors or adults
- Demonstrated warmth and compassion for people under care
- Ability to competently communicate and perform assigned tasks
- Completion of a criminal background check, BMV check, TB test, and drug screen
- Valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation
- Physical ability to stoop, reach, and lift in personal care situations
- No certification required but pay commensurated for licensed CNA, HHA, and DSP certifications and experience
Job Duties
- Provide companionship including conversation, activities, light housekeeping, running errands, transportation to appointments, and medication reminders
- Assist with personal care such as meal preparation, bathing, feeding, toileting, transferring, encouraging exercises, and grooming
- Promptly chart and report client condition changes and communicate concerns to the office and care team members
- Support clients in maintaining independence and improving their quality of life
- Maintain reliable and timely attendance for scheduled shifts
- Comply with safety protocols and use personal protective equipment consistently
- Participate in paid training, in-services, and online educational sessions
